Promo Hunters 24: On the Road Again

Written by The Folio Staff | Apr 14, 2025 4:09:37 PM

Concert season is in full swing, with today’s top artists hitting the road and filling up venues nationwide. But concerts are more than just a reason to see your favorite artists live. This is a perfect excuse to dress up and go all out as artists are encouraging their fans to follow a theme or dress code for each performance. Just look at the chrome-on-chrome futuristic outfits from Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour or the pink cowboy hats and drag makeup at a recent Chappell Roan performance. In this installment of Promo Hunters, we’re scouring merch sites to find the perfect concert apparel for today's top touring artists. While waiting in the Ticketmaster queue, start planning your Instagram-worthy concert OOTD.

Tate McRae (Miss Possessive Tour)

From her 2023 Billboard smash hit “greedy” to the recent release of her third studio album So Close to What, critics and fans alike can’t get enough of Canadian pop sensation Tate McRae. Her catchy pop hooks, heartfelt lyrics, and showstopping dance moves that rival the likes of Ciara and Britney Spears have left audiences wanting more. Fans can get the chance to see her this summer on her Miss Possessive Tour, kicking off in May. Her latest album harkens back to 2000s club anthems and amps up the provocative subject matter. The same goes for merchandise, with t-shirts and hoodies covered with pictures of McRae. The “IT'S OK, I'M OK TEE” is a personal favorite for me (and one of my favorite songs off the album). From the font to the image, it’s the perfect shirt to wear to show your love for the artist.

Post Malone (The Big Ass Tour)

2024 was a blockbuster year for the rapper-turned-country-crooner, featuring several chart-topping singles and dropping his sixth studio, F-1 Trillion, last August. This summer, the LEVII'S JEANS singer will embark on his on tour, The Big Ass Tour to be precise, that promises to be just as big as his other shows. His shift to country means a shift in aesthetics, and for this album rollout, he’s leaning more into his country boy roots, featuring cowboy hats, big rigs, and the great open road. The F-1 Trillion Weigh Station Tank with a sick trucker hat (perhaps the F-1 Trillion Orange Camo Hat) will help you get in the F-1 Trillion spirit.

SZA (Grand Nationals Tour)

If you loved their performance during this year’s Super Bowl, catch hip-hop superstar Kendrick Lamar and R&B icon SZA on their joint headline tour, Grand Nationals Tour, kicking off in April. Both artists had a huge year last year, from walking away with several Grammys for critically acclaimed albums to having one of the hottest songs of the year, getting everyone to chant “They not like us!” While there isn’t much on the official Kendrick Lamar merch site, fans of the “Kill Bill” singer can stay fresh with merch inspired by her recent project, SOS Deluxe: LANA, released at the tail end of last year. The cover sees SZA as a half-beetle, half-human creature amongst a dark, empty field. Her merch takes this motif throughout the design, with hoodies spelling out “SOS” in caterpillars and even a mesh safety vest. If we had to pick a favorite, we’d have to go with the SOS Deluxe Brown Beetle Tee Box Set.

Lady Gaga (The MAYHEM Ball)

Mother Monster is back with her latest pop offering! Lady Gaga’s seventh studio album, Mayhem, is a return to form for the multi-hyphenated talent. The ranges from dark synth pop to 2000s club bangers and disco-inspired tunes with Gaga’s signature flair. She’s headed on her much-anticipated MAYHEM Ball Tour, kicking it off with her headlining set at the 2025 Coachella Music and Art Festival. The official merch for her new album leans into an almost Halloween color pallet with oranges, blacks, whites, and greys. The design for some items references the album cover’s split reflection imagery. The Split T-Shirt needs to be in my closet immediately. The two-toned shirt sees two Gagas on the front with the album’s name on adorned on the back.

Usher (Past Present Future Tour)

Watch this! GRAMMY-winning R&B heartthrob Usher is currently touring across the pond on the European leg of his Past Present Future Tour. The tour, similar to his Las Vegas residency, is a look back at the artist's career, playing a melody of iconic hits and performing his even more iconic dance moves. Show your love for the Confessions singer with the USHER CHERRY T-SHIRT, complete with an “I Love Usher” with a cherry in place of a heart on the front and Usher holding the cherries printed on the back. It’s simple yet versatile, a fun way to show love to your favorite artist.

Billie Eilish (The Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour)

Award-winning singer/songwriter Billie Eilish is currently embarking on the European leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour. The aesthetic for this album, which is her most intimate and personal one yet, recalls styles from the late 90s/ early 2000s. Think Tupac, Green Day, and Blink-182. The merch is no exception, with loud, neon graphic tees with the artist’s album, lyrics, and more. The Billie Photo Tour Tee keeps it simple with an airbrushed styled t-shirt with Billie’s face, along with the tour stops on the back. Did we mention that each piece is crafted from recycled cotton and polyester? Fashionable and eco-conscious all at once!
