Facilisgroup Hosts Successful Partner Summit in Toronto, Canada, Focused on Innovation and Community Engagement

Facilisgroup, a leading software-as-a-service company and partnering community within the promotional products industry, recently held its highly anticipated annual Partner Summit in Toronto, Canada. The event brought together a dynamic group of owners and key managers from the Facilisgroup Community, along with Preferred Suppliers, for networking, learning, and celebrating. Attendees left with new information and fresh ideas to elevate their businesses for the remainder of the year and beyond.

The summit kicked off with the "State of Facilis," presented by Chris Lee, Facilisgroup President, and newly appointed Chief Product Officer, Matthew Cromar. They discussed the current state and future vision of Facilisgroup, highlighting initiatives aimed at pushing boundaries to support the growth and success of their Distributor Partners.

"The unique Facilisgroup approach that brings technology and community together was on full display in Toronto at our Partner Summit event,” remarked Lee. “The scale and heritage of our Distributor and Supplier Partner relationships shined through. This, alongside introducing our new Chief Product Officer, Matthew Cromar, made for a great investment of time and energy for all attendees. We are already looking forward to reconnecting as a community at PPAI Expo in January."

Sustainability education was a focus throughout the summit, with Frank Carpenito, President of Gemline, presenting on the key trends shaping the promo industry, including insights on the impact of forever chemicals, heightened compliance requirements, and the necessity of eco-conscious practices. Chris Anderson, CEO of HPG, also inspired attendees with a session on transforming sustainability initiatives into profitable ventures.

Community and giving back played significant roles in the summit experience. Through the combined efforts of Distributor Partners, Preferred Suppliers, and the Facilisgroup team, the community was able to raise over $13,000 and presented a check to Tanner Wilson of Brand Blvd., and his wife, Kaitlyn, in honor of their late son, Lennon. The donation will support a room named after their son at the Ronald McDonald House in South Central Ontario. Additionally, attendees packed school bags with supplies, donated by Preferred Suppliers S&S Activewear and PCNA, for the Ronald McDonald House Toronto.

At the close of the first day, attendees enjoyed supplier-sponsored dine-arounds at select restaurants throughout Toronto, offering a blend of gourmet food, great company, and engaging conversation.

Craig Kornblum, Owner of Jeckil Promotions, Inc. commented, "It’s always great to see old friends and make new ones. Toronto was a great city to host this event. The supplier dine-arounds were first class, and the closing event was a ton of fun."

Day two included a workshop led by Scott Ritzheimer, CEO of Scale Architects and author of "The Founders Evolution," highlighting the seven stages of transformational leadership. Attendees gained insights to help overcome common pitfalls and learned actionable strategies to elevate leadership, break through barriers, and reach new heights in business.

During both days, participants engaged through Facilisgroup’s exclusive workshop, Sized Solutions, designed to cultivate meaningful connections in smaller, intimate groups by facilitating thoughtful discussions on business opportunities and challenges.

"Jeckil has made so many important decisions based on information we have learned in these sessions, and this year was no different. I learned so much and can’t wait to bring it all home and implement it,” said Kornblum.

The event concluded with a "Rec Room Rendezvous" at a virtual reality and video arcade, a venue that captured the spirit of the summit's theme, "Beyond Boundaries. The evening offered endless opportunities to connect, compete, and celebrate with fellow partners, Preferred Suppliers, and team.
