Earlier in July, Facilisgroup hosted their much anticipated annual Partner Summit in Toronto, Canada. Every year, owners and key managers from the Facilisgroup Community, along with some of their Preferred Suppliers, come together to network with and learn from one another while having a blast. Folks left the event with new ideas and fresh perspectives they can take back to their businesses. From impactful workshops to insightful sessions and everything in between, here’s a recap of what went down in the 6ix.
The Partner Summit kicked off with Facilisgroup President, Chris Lee, and newly appointed Chief Product Officer, Matthew Cromar, discussing the current state of Facilisgroup as well as the company’s vision for 2024 and beyond. Lee noted the excitement attendees had about the future of Facilisgroup.
One of the most popular parts of the Partner Summit has to be Sized Solutions sessions. This is an opportunity for owners and key managers to discuss challenges, strategies, and insight into running a successful promo product business. This year, Facilisgroup decided to host not one, but two Sized Solution sessions for the owners and key managers. Attendees found these sessions very important and walked away with the tools and wisdom needed to take their businesses to the next level.
There was a slew of educational sessions and guest workshops attendees had the chance to participate in. Some notable industry-related guest speakers included:
Along with the general sessions, attendees got the opportunity to sit on a powerful workshop, led by Scott Ritzheimer, CEO of Scale Architects and author of The Founders Evolution. Ritzheimer taught the attendees how to elevate and take their leadership and businesses to new heights. Before the Partner Summit, we had the chance to talk with Scott Ritzheimer to get a sneak peek at what he had in store for Toronto.
With every event Facilisgroup hosts, they make it a point to give back to the local community as part of their Facilis Cares initiative and Toronto was no exception. Through the combined efforts of their Distributor Partners, Preferred Suppliers, and the Facilisgroup team, Facilis Cares was able to raise over $13,000 for Tanner Wilson, Senior Account Manager at Brand Blvd., and his wife, Kaitlyn, in honor of their son, Lennon, who tragically passed away last year. The money will support a room named after their son at the Ronald McDonald House in South Central Ontario.
But it didn’t end there! The Facilisgroup Community also came together to pack school bags, donated by S&S Activewear, and lunch boxes, donated by PCNA, for the Ronald McDonald House Toronto, which runs a private school for siblings who stay at the house. Attendees packed all the essentials needed for a stellar first day of school including snacks, school supplies, and encouraging notes written by our community. In the end, they were able to pack and donate 100 school bags!
Besides educational sessions and guest workshops, Partner Summit attendees had time to have a little fun while in Toronto. At the end of Day 1, the owners and key managers split off into groups and got to taste the Toronto food scene during the supplier-sponsored Dine Arounds. These intimate dinners gave folks the chance to learn more about each other without all the distractions. The Partner Summit ended on a high note with everyone having a blast and cutting loose at The Rec Room, Toronto's premier entertainment hub. From VR to classic arcade games, attendees were able to leave on a fun note.
